String printing in smartform

Hi Experts,

      I have a string of 1000 char, when i print it in main window - header only 256 char is getting printed. Can anybody suggest me the solution.

I have a solution but that fits only when string length is fixed. i.e Ex: string0(256),string256(256). But the chars in string varies(may go to 3000 chars etc). so how can i do dynamic changes in text of table type in header.
