Read file using GUI_UPLOAD

Hi experts

I have uploaded a text file and converted this data in to an iternal table using the function module GUI_UPLOAD .

But now i am checking the value of text file and internal table(using debugger) is different .

Can any one say in internal table value is ASCII VALUE or other value ?

How can i read this value ?
