Problem with adding column in table smartforms

Hi all,

When I have an existing table with something like 13 columns and I add a column (in my case the first column) the last column on the screen (in my case usually column number 5) seems to replicate, leaving me with not 1 extra column, but 2 extra columns.

Worst part is that the existing line does not get expanded, no extra field is added for the replicated column. Smartforms seems to have lost the way from there.

Does anybody recognize this and, even better, how can I work around this? I have a number of tables that should get an extra column...
