how to reduce space between two words

Hi experts,

    I am using smartforms, in that i want to print word "GROSS WT" which i had written in text element. While in output it print as

"GROSS            WT", i didnt get to know why it is giving more that one space between two words. In smartstyle i had maintained alignment as a left-aligned, line spacing & fonts. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue.
