I have requirement to print multiple pages of sap script and then last page as terms and condition. No matter how many pages it prints, it should always print the terms and condition.
MY LAST PAGE IS NAMED THIRD
I tried putting NEW-PAGE THIRD in the main window of the first page, but then it gives me error
WRITE_FORM is invalid, START_FORM is missing.
Help me to meet the above mentioned requirement.

We have setup a print architecture that works for SAPscript and Smartforms. Now we want to print PDF Forms as well. We are trying to print PDF Forms using RFKORD50_PDF. When executing the program the following error message appears: "Contradiction in form", with the following information:

Message no. FB403
Diagnosis
Form printout was marked as opened and at the same time as not opened.
System Response
Termination of processing
Procedure
Check whether the required printout was carried out and contact the software contact person for this program.

No spool request is created, and nothing is sent to ST22.
According to "Printing PDF Forms" at SAP help (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/25/6fa8fd27837846990a7a6813b06f80/content.htm), PCL, PostScript, or ZPL printers shall be used. Printers with the following device types have been tested: POST2, POSTGRAP, PDF1, AZPL300, AZPL203, but they all create the same error.
Can someone point me in the right direction of where the error source probably is, e.g. the form, the program or the output device?

I created a new plant ,when I am trying to get the print preview through VF02.Its shows samples transfer challan.Output type RD00
Whereas for old Plant is shows Transfer challan.Same Output type RD00.
Please help how do I get Transfer challan for this plant as well.

Hi Experts,
We are facing a strange issue for which I need your help to identify the root cause.
While certain users print POs, it gets printed with the right font and alignments. Where as for some users at different locations report incorrect printouts of POs with wrong fonts and alignments resulting in overlapping of column texts.
MN06 - Output condition records - Output device = LP01
SU01D - User default output device = Same for all users performing PO Printout
If it was a physical printer issue then-
In my system, I face a similar issue with Output condition record -> output device as LP01 where as if changed as LOCL, I am able to print with correct fonts.
Please share your thoughts on this.

Hi all,
I've to insert a DYNAMIC url in a Smartform behind a label.
Some topics to consider:
- The Url is created in running time.
- The Smartform is called by a Standard Program, so, I can not change the Impressor Program.
- I want the url behind the word "LINK"
For example:
CONCATENATE: 'www.' sy-mandt 'sap' sy-datum '.com' into lv_url.
so I want insert it behind a text "LINK"
When SAP sends the form by email the user could click on "LINK" and go to the url before created.

I am trying to print a number of invoices (which are normally treated as individual spool requests). I want to combine them and e-mail them in a PDF file. I have set the print job to allow appending and then I use a Batchman program in the next step to convert the spool to PDF and e-mail it (I need one PDF containing multiple invoices). The print job sends the output to a null printer as the print output isn't needed as such. The print immediately flag is set, but the job in SP01 has a status of '-' so it is not getting processed. As a result of this the spool job does not get marked as complete and the next day the output is appended to it and the PDF just gets bigger and bigger. Is there a way to set the 'Completed, No longer possible to add to' flag from a program or utility, but not by manual intervention? Any idea why the print is not processed? Any help would be very gratefully received, but I think I'm going to need a program to mark the spool job as complete. Thanks

I have configured the V2(Shipping-Delivery Note) output determination to send an email to outlook, It does send me an email the problem i am running into is the attachment which comes along with the out put is a blank PDF file, can any one help me of what config is missing. I am using the std sap program "RSNASTSO" and form "SAPOFFICE_AUFRUF_VX" no form routine. I have used the transmission medium 7 still the same results. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When deleting an Output device using transaction SPAD, how do you where this output device was reference? E.g. Batch jobs, user default, etc. Ideally, I would like a program that can take an output device as an input and give me back everywhere the output device is reference within SAP.
Here's an odd for you. We are currently using the command PDF! when previewing a PO. This converts PO to PDF and opens it up in a PDF Viewer where the user can save, print, email the PO. Is there a way to modify the PDF Preview? For instance when they click email to attach it to an email, give the file a specific name (PO# maybe)?

It has been experienced consistently, while working in SAP, that the end user often needs to explore/experiment to cater his local needs, which are not addressed in standard system. While doing that sometimes, some creative ideas are born. The author would like to share 2 such Ideas with the members.
Into the Document
Let’s first see the screens of End Result out of these Ideas, so that, the readers can assess the relevance and usefulness for them, before going through the entire document.
End Result of Idea1
To print Page Headers and Column Headers of the form in Regional language.
In this example, a Regional Language Hindi font is taken as example. Same will be applicable to any other language.

To have time-line graphics printed against line items such as scheduled jobs during repairs etc. This will be valid for any such applications where Start Date and End Date are involved.

The similarity in both the ideas dealt here is that, both use tiny graphics uploaded to system through Transaction code SE78.
(I am not going into the SE78 graphic uploading procedure, as it is a basic thing and has been already available in other documents in the forum)

Idea1:
Objective:
To print Page Headers and Table Column Headers of the form in Regional Languages where SAP Language support is not there.
Pre-requisite:
You should be able o punch your translated words in the Regional Language you prefer into a MS-Word document.
For this sometimes, Regional language font (in this case Hindi) needs to be installed in the PC. (We can download regional fonts from net like Indic IME 1 fonts etc. and install in our OS). After installing, the font options can be selected through Language bar (or Atl + Shift key),
(Active language is shown near the right bottom of the Windows OS taskbar like this.)
Now, I punch my translated words (sometime Bi-lingual) in a MS Word document like below.
NOTE:
After many trials I’ve settled at the Font Sizes below.
For Page Header (medium sized) it is 48
Page Header (large sized) it is 60
and for Column Headers it is 36
(As I have selected suitable font size above, there is no need for mention of picture resolution here.)
Now I use Windows snipping tool
to cut these into individual small graphics. (One or two for Page Header, As many required for Column Headers etc)
Like:

Note: These Graphics are required to be with BMP extension.
Also take care that snipping to be done close to fonts (not giving margins)
Then, I upload all these Graphics through Tcode SE78 and use them in Smartforms.
Now, let’s see the screens inside Smartform, how these graphics are used.

(Notice here that, under the Table-lineCells, instead of Text, we have used Graphics.
Important:
I have used, 300dpi resolution option in smartform graphic screens (see below), for all the graphics used in this section.
This technique can be used in a similar way, to get your forms bi-lingual and connect the users with their local language to some extent .
So our end-product here is:
(It may please be noted that, we are talking about the Headers only, not the data inside the internal tables)

Idea2:
Objective is to have Graphical printing of Time-line chart, by using different colors for different job executing agencies, in SAP objects like Repair Work Orders.
As we have already discussed, this idea is relevant where you have duration fields like Start Date and End Dates in your internal table.
Pre-requisites
1. Tiny graphics of resolution 23 X 16 pixels (0.58 X 0.41 cm) as many colors as you need to be uploaded through SE78.
For example here:
I want to print the time-line with different colors for different job executing agency (ITAB-ARBPL). I have 3 such categories. So I have created 3 graphics of above resolution with 3 different colors.
2. Repair Start date and Duration of Repairs (Days) are the inputs through Selection screen.
Now let’s discuss things inside the smartform.
1. Design the table for time-line.
This can be done by defining cells with narrowest width, and nos. equal to duration days (higher side).
e.g., A Repair of maximum possible duration with 9 days can be provided 10 or 11 time-line cells.
Remember, the first time-line cell represents the Day1 of the Duration, next one, the Day2 and so on.
2. In each time-line cell, you need to maintain program lines to give code, which decides whether this cell is included in the time-line comparing to the start/end dates of the Job in this line item.
Example:
Repair Start date: 29.09.2013 and Duration : 9 Days.
Job (Line item ) Start Date : 30.09.2013 and End Date: 04.10.2013.
Then, for this particular job, the code in the program lines stores value ‘X’ into a variable for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th time-line cells and no value for the other cells.
(The code in the picture below is illustrative only. Relevant codes to be written as per the variables used)
If a particular time-line cell is with value ‘X’ above, then this code identifies the graphic to be displayed in the cell depending upon the value of the executing agency (ITAB-ARBPL).
You can see here in the picture below that we have provided all 3 graphics (one for each color) under each cell, so that the program lines code and the lines given in the Condition tab will choose which colored graphic is to be displayed in this cell.
(Again the conditions shown here are just illustrative only)
Important:
I have used, 0 dpi resolution option in smartform graphic screens (see below), for the time-line graphics (23x16 pixels) used in this section.
So we have arrived at the end of the task, to get an output like:

2nd Idea above looks a bit complex because of the code and conditions involved. The focus of this document is about the use of tiny graphics in smartforms. The coding requirements involved in this, are simple and can be easily understood by members using the program-lines in the forms.

We made some changes to a SAPScript and it's print program. Everything was looking good untill the client tested it in the production box. When trying to print the receipt using FB12 (to choose correspondence type), F.61 (to issue the spool request) and SP01 (To display the output) the following warnings where displayed in F.61 and the spool request was never issued.
Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance.

We realized an Adobe Form related to deliveries. The form is printed on a paper with the weight of 160g (which is the double of a normal paper).
When the printer settings are put correctly to 160g the print out releases an error message.
Apparently the form message does commit a paper weight parameter to the printer. The missmatch (form: "normal" paper / printer: 160g) does release an error message. Where does the parameter for the paper weight in the Adobe Form can be found? Where can we change it?
When we change the printer settings to normal paper the form is printed. But with a low printing quality due to the false settings.
Printer is a RICOH Aficio SPC430DN.
