The ZOR output is to be sent to the customer under the Sales Group persons email address. However, customers are receiving the outputs from the order entry persons email address, this should not be happening. how to resolve this ??

Hello all,
We have tons of spool requests in the queue, about 20,000 of them. I see several with the status - , as seen in the attached. I don't know why these jobs are staying in this status. sap help shows me that the status - means "Spool request has not yet been sent to the host spool system (no output request exists". Can some one help me understand why the spool request stays in this status? I know they are created from some batch. How can I get rid of them?

SAP provides the tools SAPSPrint and SAPPDFPrint in addition to the built-in front-end print technology of SAP GUI for printing.
SAPSprint can be used for server-based printing and SAPDFPrint can be used to convert ADS (Adobe Document Services) PDF files (formerly: IFbA - Interactive Forms by Adobe) into printer-independent data stream.
However, it has happened a few times in the past that some components of SAPSPrint, SAPPDFPrint and SAP GUI couldn't work together.
Aside from documents like SAP Note #1822381 and SAP KBA #2035550 there isn't a new document which would follow the versioning of these programs.
This document intends to help on that.
The main part of this document consists of six tables: one for the SAPWIN.dll version of SAP GUI (the most important part for front-end printing), and versions of SAPSPrint and SAPPDFPrint.
These tables will mostly hold just version information, which can be used for trouble-shooting / support purposes. If incompatible versions will be known, they will be noted in both affected tables.
For example: it SAPGUI patch ABC is not compatible with SAPPDFPrint version XYZ, it will be noted both in the SAP GUI table and the SAPPDFPrint table.
Please note that these tables only focus on versions 740 (and some "legacy" versions from 730), because the end of support for 730 will come soon.

Hi All,
We have created a output type for PO(for ALE) and done all the settings in NACE. Problem is , output type is not automatically proposed by system.
In output determination procedure "Manually" check box is not ticked for that output type. Please suggest what I am missing .

Hi Expert,
When users print pages from sap, all pages print completely but not printing in sequence order.
Pages upto 5 to 9 print sequentially but more than 10 pages not print in sequence.
It is also found that spool request generated but output request not generated when print more than 10 pages. Some request has more than 200 pages.
Printers are network printer (no local printer)
There is no more dump (st22) or log error (sm21) related to print issue.
More detail as below:
OS : HP-UX
Database : DB6
SAP : ECC 6.0
Printer configuration:
Output device : Local
Device type: SWIN
Spool access method : G
Host printer : __default

Hello,
I made a custom copy of the standard SAP Print program RLE_DELNOTE for printing delivery notes.
In that copy i added a loop for printing several different smartforms into on spool job.
Like this:
Loop
No_open = ‘X’
No_close = ‘X’
First loop no_open = ‘ ’
Last loop no_close = ‘ ‘
Call function (smartform function module name)
Endloop
This all seems to work just fine when we open the print preview for the first time. The different smartforms are printed correctly in one spool job.
But when we open the print preview the second time or do the actual print out after the print preview, without leaving the transaction first, the pages add up.
So if the print job has 4 pages for instance, in the second preview the job now has 8 pages, in the third preview 12 pages and so on. Like some memory not had been cleared.
Someone any idea what could be causing that?

We have developed a customized program and a smartform using which we are trying to give Label printing. But while executing the program in SE38 and then after giving the required value and then if give print we are getting an error as
ERROR CANNOT BE CLASSIFIED (UNKNOWN EXCEPTION TRIGGERED).

I have a Smartform with a table. The table has an Event At Sort Begin and an Event At Sort End. I need to make sure the header line in the Begin event and the subtotal in the End event stay with the lines in between on the same page. I know that usually page protection can be achieved this way with folders, but I can't put lines from different events in the same folder and I'm wondering if there's a different solution.
In the example below lines AA and BB are created using an "Event At Sort Begin" and the Subtotal lines are created using an "Event at Sort End". If lines AA through its corresponding Subtotal or lines BB through its corresponding Subtotal didn't fit on the page completely, there'd be a page break.
Another option I have, is if the grouping didn't fit on a single page (like grouping CC) then there should be at least one line with the header or one line with the total. But again I cannot figure out how to keep one line item with an event line.
The last thing I should note is that not all line types are the same height, and there is space between groupings, so the number of lines that fit in the main window is variable. I'm not sure that line counting is an option.

Hi Experts,
One of our user has installed a new printer attached to her PC with windows 7 - 64 bit.
Before that another printer was working fine. Now there is no printouts coming through SAP reports.
Any other prints from Adobe, word etc. are coming fine but only prints from SAP are not printing.
And in spool list it show below error.
So anyone who knows this issue then pls help.

We have a number of Forms that have a color logo included. However for a number of printers we do not want to print in color, but rather print in back and white only.
In order to achieve this the output devices for these printers were set to with the "color printer" attribute set to blank. However when we print to these devices the output is still in color.
Does anyone know how to ensure that the output is in black and white only?

The driver program gives me data for internal table. For each line item, i need to call a new page.

I copied and edited standard form PM_COMMON to accomodate requirement for custom Job Ticket.
However, when I set that in OIDF, the Job Ticket print fails (print or print preview).
I traced the problem to the standard program RIPRJT00.
it enters FORM print_paper, then to FORM main_print. Below is its source code

Then it enters FORM operations_with_mat, then a call to function module WRITE_FORM. It fails in line 40 of the FM WRITE_FORM where it checks if the form is closed
40 if rstxc-tdclose = true. 41 call function 'SAPSCRIPT_MESSAGE_DEF' 42 exporting no = 443 43 v1 = 'WRITE_FORM'. 44 perform exception. 45 message a443 with 'WRITE_FORM' raising unstarted. 46 endif.
I don't know how, but PERFORM operations_with_mat is between PERFORM open_form and PERFORM close_form.
Do you know any reasons why rstxc-tdclose would set to 'X'?

In smartforms, 2 pages have to be designed, the first page followed by the second page.
Both follow the same layout.
The design for first page has already been done.
The design for second page is exactly similiar to that of the first page, except for the table contents.
So, I made a copy of first page onto second page, by right-clicking on first page and selecting "copy".
But the problem is, whenever I make some changes to the windows in second page, it gets reflected in the first page also.
Looks like both the pages share the same windows and node elements due to the copy effect of first page onto second page.
How do I go about the problem ? It is arduous to design afresh for the second page specifying each and every windows' length & width, etc. when the layout is exactly the same.
Please help in solving the problem.

We have a Device LOCL-UL in SPAD.

Users are complaining that when they print labels, sometime the print is getting delayed, even for 5 minutes, nothing is happening. Even restarting Print Spooler does not help.
Network team suggests that there is no issue from their side.
Please help to resolve.

I have an issue where last year when I setup an output determination pointing to a smart form it sent out properly with no issue as a .pdf Now all of a sudden for some reason it is now being sent out without an extension. I can see everything just fine in SOST but for some reason just this form has no extensions. We have other smart forms that send out just fine with a .pdf extension. Any thoughts?

We are using Zebra ZM600 and Z6Mplus units in our warehouses to printer labels. When we give the command to print from SAP ECC 6.0, it takes approximately some 20 seconds before the 1st label prints and then 15-20 seconds between each subsequent label. (even though the original spool request included all 20 labels)
I have tried to search the web and support sites of Zebra, but can not really find a clear solution to the problem. According to our SAP Basis guys, it only takes 1 seconds in SAP to generate the spool request and the information is then sent to our print server.
Does anyone have any experience and our suggestions that they coudl share?
