Reg: Purchsae order Print out problem.

Hello All,

 

This is my issue.

 

After SAP version upgrade EHP-7 I am facing some issues in purchase order printout.

 

font size in the purchase order is changed. fort size becomes smaller than the normal correct font.

 

We are using same form for both Po print out and fax.

 

for PO print out words are printed correctly. But for the fax I could see small fonts instead of normal one.

 

same form is used for both the medium. But I could see small fonts for Fax.

 

 

I want to know why fonts are showing smaller even same output form is used?

 

Where we need to check this problem.

Which device type is to be used to print a pdf spool type directly on frontend?

The problem we're facing is to be able to print a PDF spool through frontend printing.

When we try to print a PDF spool directly to frontend from transaction FIWTIT_CU, the PDF spool is correctly created and we can see it in SP01 as PDF spool type, but the concurrent output is a list of ASCII chars, similar to the one you get when you use the wrong driver.

The preview on SP01 works fine and, as a workaround, we can actually print the PDF throught the print option on the preview, but, of course,

it's quite time expensive.

 

Searching on SCN and sapnotes we found out that we cannot use SAPWIN/SWIN device type, but a PCL, PS or ZPL device type.

We tryed PDF1, POST2 and XFP with no luck.

Does anybody knows which device type can we use?

Should we use report RSPO0022 to check the device type we can use and just try them 'till we find the right one?

send status:

 

Requested status options are:

1. A Return all statuses

2. E only error statuses are to be returned

3. N no status is to be returned

4. Blank

 

Status by mail options are:

1. A All statuses

2. E only Error statuses

3. N No statuses

4. Blank

 

whereas in EHP7

send status:

 

Requested status options are:

1. A Always

2. E only if errors

3. N never

4. D If transferred

5. R if read

 

Status by mail options are:

1. A Always

2. E only if errors

3. N never

4. D If transferred

5. R if read

 

what is the impact on this.

ADS: com.adobe.ads.destination.DestinationException: IO(200101)

When trying to print multiple notifications, we are  getting an error   "ADS: com.adobe.ads.destination.DestinationException: IO(200101)" in production.

 

It is working fine for single notification.

 

ADS connection is working fine.

 

It is working fine in Quality and Development Systems and it was working fine in production last week .

 

Please can you suggest if any configuration setting or print setting change can affect or cause this kind of  issue.

 

Please help. How to resolve this error.

Send mails while saving sales order

Hi experts,

 

In my client end, they are sending the sales order printout as pdf to the customer while printing the same based on the output type parameters. The output type whatever they are using is configured as "External send". Now they want to send the mail whenever the order got changed.

 

 

That is they don't want to print the order each and every time to send mails to the customer. If any amendments happen in the sales order the mail should be triggered while saving the order.

 

Can anybody suggest me the solution in standard itself with out any ABAP development ?

Printer PDF creating unwanted temp file

Hi,

 

Anyone has seen this before?  I am using PDF as a logical destination and my admin told me it is generating some file name like global00DxTNAH.PR1 & PR1S file. 

 

Any help would be really great!!

job spool error after system copy (device type does not match device)

Hi experts,

 

I'm not sure if it's a spool or a job problem - but because the error message points at problems with spool requests I opened this discussion in "Output Management".

 

After system copies in one system landscape we face the problem that the spool requests of one special job (some kind of Z-program) is getting corrupted somehow - this hasn't always been that way - it happened for the last 5-6 copies.

 

The job runs for some time and aborts then - the job log contains the error message "Device type HP4250 for request 24.853 does not match current device" where HP4250 is the (correct) device type for the printer of spool number 24853.

When you delete that spool request and restart the job it aborts at the next spool number that was created in the first job execution.

Only if you delete all spool requests that were created during the first aborted job execution the job can run again with the same parameters like before (same printer, same program, same device type...) .

 

Of course we reorganize the spool after system copies (RSPO1041) and clean up inconsistencies (SP12).

And for this is affecting only one job it doesn't seem to be a general problem.

 

Usually that happens right after the system copy and with the first execution of that job - weird enough. But today it occurred 1,5 weeks after the system copy and after several successful job executions which seems even stranger.

 

I couldn't find anything concerning this error message via SAP Marketplace or anywhere else.

 

Has anyone of you ever faced a problem like this? Could you find a solution to it?

Smartform: Need to print a text in a main window table when page change

Hello Everyone,

 

In my requirement, I need to print a smartform main window with a table control which will look like following:

 

Page1:

i.e. if any page break happens, we need to print the text "The Text" in the 1st line of the main area.

 

We can not print "The Text" text with sfsy-page NE old sfsy-page check, it will print "The Text" after Line 7 (as the sfsy-page will change after a single line print).

 

1. we can't restrict the number of line.

2. we can't print the text in the header.

 

So can anyone please suggest any possibility?

Label Printing with Intermec Printer

Hi,

 

  We are trying to print labels using Intermec Printer 3400e. Iam checking the link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/EN/aa/f09e387ce38d74e10000009b38f889/content.htm which is telling the steps that need to follow for Intermec. However, iam not getting any slightest idea on what does the Labelshop Pro design program is as explained in the link? Also, I didnt understand how to define R3 fields as deifned in second step.

 

Could anyone please help me in understanding?

Hello Experts,

 

good day.

 

I have a following scenario of creating a email with a PDF attachment,

I run a Program A in background which in turns calls another Program B through Submit Syntax.

 

The Issue is when a run the Program in Background the Email is getting created in SOST but the PDF Attachment is Corrupted.

But If i run the Program B alone in Debugging mode the Email is getting created with Proper PDF attachment.

 

I am Using the below Code to Convert the Smartform Output to PDF :

 

call function 'CONVERT_OTF'

exporting

       format                = 'PDF'

     importing

       bin_filesize          = lv_filesize

       bin_file              = lv_xpdf

       otf                   = ls_job_output-otfdata

Smart form To do only print preview for Certain Conditions

Hi Experts,

I had a requirement where we are developing VAT forms (MUSAK-11) for one of our client in Bangladesh. Having Developed the VAT Smartforms & Driver program they want the Smartform to be printed only once for a single VAT Challan No (Every VAT Form will have a unique Challan no being generated in the program & maintaining a custom number range object for this). But when ever we execute the driver program on the print preview screen  on Menu Bar under TEXT Node the Print option should be disabled only when they want to preview a Previous VAT Form & for New VAT Forms generated they want it to be enabled.

 

Please guide me on this.

Sales Order output

Hi,

 

Recently we have changed for BA00 output type for (check)multiple output upon sales order changes.

 

now its working fine.

 

Now Question is:

 

for few user doesn't want multiple output types in same division. because its triggering every time mail....

 

any changes done its triggering for all.

 

1) Is their way to restrict user specific...

 

2) Is their any way to mail restrict... out put will trigger but no mail and print.

 

3) Any other way.

 

 

Please specify.

2-D barcode printing.

Dear Expert,

 

we are using SAP 6.0 and SAP Basis release 702. Problem is that:-

   - We would like to have changes on VDA-label according to VDA-standard 4902 Version 4. New barcodes have to be printed in addition to existing ones. According to SAP DataMatrix ECC200 barcodes are not supporting.

     - We want to use this in our script.

     -  I found OSS note- 1558595 & 645158 but I am not sure the consequence.

 

So please advise.

Sapscript - Rotating Text 90 Degree (Not Zebra Printer)

Hi Guys,

 

Currently I'm in the midst of developing a SAPscript form for cheque printing but have ran into an issue. The cheque will be printed using normal inkjet printer like those Canon inkjet printer you have at home.

 

In the SAPscript form, is there a way to rotate the text 90 degrees?

 

I have searched through SDN, Google and have tried the Print Control statement ^FWR and ^FWN, but it doesn't seem to work.

Rote text by 90degrees

 

When I print it out on the printer, the text is still printed out horizontally. I've also created a test SMARTFORM to test the Print Control statement and the result is the same.

 

Am I using the ^FWR and ^FWN Print Control statement incorrectly? Or is it that Print Control Statement only works for Zebra printers?

 

Any help is much appreciated guys.

It gives Message  "Form ZFORM language EN is not available in client 800" but i want see that form in 800 client. How can i do this.

print Amount field without decimal

In VL32N, Some times user entered the value on qty field(LFIMG) without decimal point. Now I want to print that how it's displayed in VL32N.

ie without decimal values.

Print decimal field like VL32N

Hi ABAPer's

 

I enter decimal place .000 in vl32n qty filed

before.jpg

 

If I press enter the it displays 10 without decimal point.

After.jpg

I want to display the same in forms ie without decimal place. Is there any function module/class?

Printing Additional page in sap script

hello,

I am working on SAP SCRIPT in which it suppose to only print 1 page ... but while printing it is printing 2 pages ... second page is blank but only footer of first page is getting printed on second page.

I dont want to print that additional page.
