problem including standard text in outbound delivery header text

hello all

I am trying to include a standard text in my outbound delivery header text area.

in the area the text is created in several languages and the text to be included is created with SO10 in the same languages.

when I double click on the text window I get to the sap script where I use the menu "include->text-> standard" and I enter the name of the text and the language as well.

when I try to print tho, the text comes out exactely as in the script: "INCLUDE <name of text>OBJECT ID ST LANGUAGE FR" instead of the text itself! If I expand it immediately it works but i want to avoid that: it would defeat the purpose of including the object text.

any idea of why this is happening?

2d barcode integration

Dear All,

 

i am new to sap can anyone tell my how to integrate barcode which is coming from external device that is dot matrix printer into sap.

 

Req is : 2d barcode has to be picked from the external system (data matrix) and update into the labels.

 

labels are created using WWI .

No printing happening in VF31

D Friends,

I'm trying to give bulk printing of Invoices from VF31. But no printing is happening. I'm getting following errors:

With Processing mode 1- No messages for initial processing exist. Message no. VN108.

With Processing mode 2- No messages for repeat processing exist. Message no. VN109.

I've searched the forum- got many hits on the same message no. like : "http://scn.sap.com/thread/1887696". But they are not solving my issue. Do I've to run bulk billing from Spool (SP01) or bulk printing will happen directly from VF31?

Installed font not in selection in SmartStyles

Hello,

 

I have installed a true type font via SE73, but the font doesn't show up in the list of font families in SmartStyles. What could be the reason? I don't have to 'activate' the new font or anything I guess?

Issue after transporting Bitmap Image in Quality System

Hi All,

 

I have uploaded a Black and White Bitmap image in Development System. I have added the Image in TR and move it to Quality System.

 

After moving to QA, I have checked for the image in SE78 transaction. The Graphic Information for the image is exist but when i try to check the Print Preview of the Image, I am getting the messages "Knowledge Provider error: No content exists".

 

Please help me in resolving the issue.

Intercompany invoices

Hello Expert,

 

Customer is sending Intercompany invoice to other plant through EDI as Medium in VF06.

he is complaining that other plant is getting only first invoice,and not getting other invoices.

 

We checked Both the idocs (First -successful & second unsuccessful) both the Idocs are in "

53Application document poste

53 status

 

What can be the probable reason for this?

how to fix this issue?

 

I checked forum before raising this issue but didnt find anything

If some have please send the link

Printing on local device

Hello ,

 

I have created a front end printer with access method G.

We have configured it with following settings.

 

-------------

Device type : THSAPWIN:MS-Windows-Printervia SAPLPD

 

Host spol access method : G:Frontend print with Control technologie

 

1.  Character set    8634 Thai Printer codepage (THSAPWIN)

Synt. character set  0

-------------

 

The printer should be able to print Thai characters . So correct Chracter set needs to be loaded.

 

I am not sure about this.

 

I have attached screenshots of the spool requests display.

 

What are the changes that should be made here?

Nace V2 Conditions for output control - exclude conditon record

Hello Gurus,

I am familiar with NACE and conditions for output control - specially for V2, shipping Application.  Currently we have many output types under V2 applications that print shipping documents.  I have a requirement to exclude plant or shipping point from printing these documents.  I am looking into the condition records but I believe these are just to add conditions but I am not seeing where I can use exclude conditions.  We have several plants and shipping points so to maintain print condition will be a bigger scope.  Is there a way to maintain " do not print" condition type based on Shipping Plant or shipping point or even delivery type and shipping point?

Set page orders in Smartforms

Hi,

 

I have a smartform with multiply pages for VAT declaration.  On the selection screen of printing program I can set which pages would be printed out (more appendixes). I created a main window in the first page with no data in it, only for command and set the 'Go to new page' i.e. PAGE_3 with specific condition. It works fine but if I wanted to set the new page from PAGE_3 to PAGE_5 it requires a main window on PAGE_3. Ok, I created (or copy) a main window on PAGE_3 and added command and condition there but it did not work. It seems that page setting works only for once for the first main window. Is it possible to set print order i.e. PAGE_1, PAGE_3 and PAGE_5 omitting PAGE_2 and PAGE_4?

Send Invoice as PDF Attachment with variable Filename

Hello!

 

 

We got a requirement from one customer. We should send our invoices as PDF-Attachment via E-Mail but the attachment must have a variable filename. At the Moment we can send invoice as PDF-Attachment but only with a fix filename.

How can we change the filename in our Adobe Forms?

Error message problem using in FM which is configured for BTE

Hi Techies,

 

I have created one function module ZFI_PERFORM_00002213 which is copy of standard fm SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002213

and configured my custom function module in FIBI Transaction for BTE 2213 and I wrote one statement in that fm to display one error message while working with Tcode FBV0 Parking and posting documents MESSAGE E027(ZMESSAGES) I wrote statement like this but it is giving like abort message when I click exit it navigates to initial sap screen but I need screen from where the message is triggered.

Hi Experts,

 

smartforms is quite a new topic for me. But I need some urgent help

The project i am working in is using a smartform to generate xml file as input to a printer manager programm / department.

 

I am doing some design of the text  , title and column etc in the smartform.

my question is, how i can create a preview in Transaction "SMARTFORMS" ? i assume there must be a way to create a preview of smartforms to see the layout of information like header, position, title etc.

 

I tried already to "test" the smartforms , it leads me to se37 and call the Fucntion Module. I carried it out by choosing a local printer or LOCL as printer.

In SP01 I can find the print order, if i choose print, I can generate a PDF , but inside there is only one line of XML

<smartxsf xmlns = "urn:sap-com:smartforms:2000:xsf"><header><gernal><version>

 

Does anyone can tell how i can test my smartform in an easy way , just to see if the changes for example the column name ( title ) is made correctly?

Problem with Thai Smartform and PDF Email Attachement

Hi All,

 

I have created a smartform which displays order details in Thai. We are maintaining translation in SE63. While in the preview, the characters are displayed correctly unless we change the setting Goto > PDF Preview.

 

The OTF form of this print is converted into PDF using the function module CONVERT_OTF and sent as mail attachment.

 

Here too we have same issue. The Thai characters in PDF attachment are converted to junk characters looks like square. Can anyone suggest how to overcome this?

 

1. control_par-getotf  = 'X'. nast-nacha = 5. nast-spras = '2'. (TH)

2. I tried all these printers. E.g. composer_param-tdprinter  = 'THPDF'. 'THSWINU'. 'PDFUC'.

3. Used cascading = 'X' while calling FM 'CONVERT_OTF'.

4. Followed the SAP Note: 1822639

5. As per SAP Note: 1817893 I imported font 'Angsana New' so now we can see this font is embedded in PDF.

6. Basis implement SAP Note 1645944 changing FONT_ADJUST_POSS to 'On'.

7. Smartform Style uses 'THANGSAN' font.

8. Researched SDN on this issue.

Sapscript translated in non-english language - Garbled output as Email

Hi Experts,

I've translated a SAPscript  to Chinese and Thai language.

As per my requirement, the output can either be printed, emailed or faxed.

I'm using the standard include  RVADOPFO for Open form.

For the english version, I'm able to recieve the properly formatted e-mail output.

However in case of thai and chinese, the Thai and Chinese characters do not appear. Most of them are substituted with blank spaces and some are substituted with boxes and unknown characters. However, the numbers and english characters appear.

 

Please help in getting the correct output.

New BarCode Type to print Brazil Boleto forms

Hi

 

We have requirement to print BOLETO form with Bar Code for Citi Bank Brazil. As per Citi Bank manual provided, we need to print the Bar Code with bar code type "INTERCALATED type 2 of 5".

 

But in SAP, when we create new custom bar code(ex. ZBAR2) using SE73, we are not finding the above said bar code type.

 

The nearest match is 2OF5 ( Bar Code ITERLEAVED 2 OF 5). We used this, but the output of bar code printed is not upto the expectation.

 

Please can someone help on how to bring/install the new bar code type INTERCALATED in SAP.
